Poker is a very complex game which knows several variants. Unlike Hold'em, 7 Card Stud has five betting rounds, this requiring more concentration from the player's part. 7 Card Stud doesn't need community cards, and the folding cards must be remembered. In 7 Stud Poker the player receives three cards which includes one up. This card is known as the door card or Third Street. Considering this, the player decides whether to go on or not. In Texas Holdem, this is not possible, as the players start with two downcards. Thus, skill is an important element when playing 7 Stud. As soon as the first round of betting has finished, the players receive another card, face up. This is called the fourth street. From now on, the highest hand initiates the action, either checking or betting. After each betting round is completed, another card is dealt also face up. This goes on until the seventh street, the last card is dealt down. This card is also known as the river card, and once the final card has completed, the best hand is the winner.
