How the Game Works
A table has a spinning wheel with 38 slots, pockets, numbered from 1 to 36 and colored red or black. American roulette wheels have two "0's", (zero and double-zero), increasing the house advantage to 5.3%, this being marked green. Players bet on a condition or a number of conditions that the round will end with, the roulette wheel is spun and a ball is thrown into it against the direction of spinning. When the ball settles down and rests in a pocket, the number on the pocket is the winner.
Betting in the game might seem a bit complicated, but it truly isn't. The betting table consists of two parts: the ''Inside'' and the ''Outside'' and almost every online casino has helpful advices and instructions if you find yourself lost. Roulette tables also have minimum and maximum table limits and it is up to the player how far will he/she go.
American Roulette uses "non-value" chips, all chips belonging to the same player are of the same value determined at the time of the purchase, and the player cashes in the chips at the roulette table. The croupier collects and distributes chips by hand and once the ball is thrown, the fun can begin.
