Face-Up 21 is a variation of Blackjack, so the Player needs to come as close to 21 without going over, while still having a higher total than the Dealer.
Being similar to Blackjack, the taste of the adrenalin can not be missed: before dealing the cards, the Player must wager, only then two cards are dealt face up. The Dealer gets also two cards an if the total value of the Player's cards is closer to 21 than the Dealer, the Player wins as much as it was wagered. The Player is also declared winner if the Dealer goes over 21 and the Player has not busted. If the Player's total exceeds 21, the Player loses. If the Player has a hand from a 6 and an Ace, it may either be considered a 17 or drop its value to 7, because the Ace may count as 1 or 11. It is the Players choice.
